Seafood Sorties. While you're in an adventurous spirit, why not try a dinner on a floating sampan in the Causeway Bay typhoon shelter. You can take in Hong Kong's magnificent night-time skyline from the water, and sample or ignore the passing parade of floating "bars," displays of seafood and serenading musicians.
You might also try seafood villages in Hong Kong, such as Lye Yue Mun, and on the nearby islands, such as Lamma, where you can find the freshest of prawns, crabs, scallops, and snapper in the local markets and then take them to one of the many nearby restaurants to be prepared to your order.

Lye Yue Mun: You can't get fresher seafood than in this village known as the 'mouth' of Hong Kong waters. Select your dinner from the tanks in the markets, and let the restaurant do the cooking, Cantonese style.
